Traveling with Cyndy Waters, our workshop leader who also has a home in Kenya, gave me an insider perspective on the country, animals, and people I would not have otherwise. The days spent in each location was just the right amount of time to get a sense of the place and subject matter. Our group was diverse yet cohesive. My biggest challenge is whittling down the thousands of images I came home with. A good problem to have!

Originally from the eastern shore of Long Island, Elizabeth G Brooke has made her home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts for the past 50 years. Her intention with her photographic practice is to explore what lies beneath, ask questions, and celebrate the beauty and diversity of life we all share on this amazing planet.
