The WOMEN is a 100 page 8.5″x11 hardcover photography book printed on premium lustre paper and is a collection spanning several decades of my photographic archive which includes film photo montages from the eighties, later digital photography, iphone imagery and recent AI technology. The pages move through evolving technologies simultaneously and multiple genres including street photography, collage, self portraiture, landscape, and still life photography. It’s an exploration of if, and how, gender influences the vision of women photographing women as distinct from men. The book is also an affirmation of photographic evolutions based on it’s implicit interdependence on technology and the idea that AI is a natural extension of photography rather than a perverse aberration.
This limited signed edition, self-published by olive&root, is $500 plus shipping and includes one 8.5″x11″ selected image printed on Hahnemuhle archival paper. The book is custom printed on demand with a three week turn around time and can be purchased directly through noliveri99@gmail.com.
