This collection showcases a selection of artwork that I believe effectively represents my style and artistic abilities. I have deliberately chosen to present only black and white photos. Within my art, I find that black and white imagery allows me to best convey my vision. Although color certainly has its merits, monochrome photography enables me to express myself most authentically.

I am deeply passionate about documenting the Queer nightlife scene of Atlanta, and these photos are a testament to that passion. It’s an honor to be able to capture and showcase the beautiful, unapologetic expressions of self, sexuality, and gender identity that I witness in this community. The drag scene and leather subculture are just two of the many facets of this vibrant world that I am fortunate to be a part of.

Each photo tells a unique story, and it’s my hope that through them, people are able to understand the beauty and complexity of queer culture. These images are a reminder of the ongoing struggle for LGBTQIA+ rights and the importance of celebrating our differences and unique identities.

I am humbled by the privilege of being able to document these precious moments and am truly grateful for the opportunity to share them with the world. This collection is my way of saying that queer people deserve to exist, be seen, and celebrated, and I’ll never stop fighting for that reality to become a permanent fixture in our society. – Mason Ward
