Atlanta has long been a cultural hub of the south and Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP), now approaching our 23rd festival season, is committed to offering art without barriers through public programming which elicits thoughtful dialogue and amplifies the compelling work of the photographic community.

ACPFest returns in October 2021 with featured events including outdoor photo walks, collaborative exhibitions, and public art projects such as We, Women a new photo installment on the Atlanta Beltline as well as an interactive augmented reality photo mural in Midtown. The Phoenix photo mural will feature dozens of images by Georgia photographers that showcase Atlanta and the collaborative spirit of the city.

In celebrating the democratic nature of photography, the ACP Open Exhibition returns. The Open Exhibition, traditionally a “pin up” show, returns as a virtual event welcoming photographers of all levels and engages hundreds of participants of all ages. Prizes are awarded in 9 categories including a cash award for Best School.

The festival includes over 80 participating events from the Atlanta photographic community including museums, galleries, artist groups and individuals.

#ACPFest occurs during the month of October. The ACP Festival Guide launches Sept 14.
